Happy 25th Anniversary!

My Aunt Toni and Uncle Michael celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary in two days, and their son, my cousin, threw them a wonderful party this past Sunday. Congratulations to them, and I look to them as an inspiration for me and Greg.

Of course, I did the cake and wanted to share that with everyone.

I also wanted to share the first photo of my sister and me looking prego together. I hope to have one more of these before the baby comes. As you can see, I'm getting bigger and bigger!!! And my sister is just starting to show her bump.

The Backyard

Okay, I am finally putting up pictures of our new backyard....

Here are the Before and After pictures of the driveway.













Here are a couple of Before pictures of the lawn. The first one shows the lawn the day we moved in. The second one shows how bad the lawn got with Dakota running on it. You can also see in the first one the two trees we tore out. The are the two in the corner. They were just a breeding ground for bees and spiders. Yuck.

Here are the After pictures of the yard. These don't show the trees we put in. We put in a flowering plum (which doesn't bear fruit) in the corner, and a peach and a plum tree (these bear fruit) in the two cutouts (not sure if you can see it from these pictures). Now don't forget, the lawn is artificial turf, and it is aboslutely awesome!!!

This is the new patio furniture cusions we got as well. We also put up an awning on the trellis above the patio furniture. It makes it all very comfortable in our new backyard.
